Kim Crawford

Kim graduated from the University of Otago in 2005 with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy and has a passion for dance and the treatment of dance-related injuries. She is also a graduate of the New Zealand School of Dance and is now part of the team that provides physiotherapy services to the Royal New Zealand Ballet.

Kim also uses her expertise to provide dance-specific injury treatment, management and rehabilitation to a wide range of dancers of all ages.  When treating she enjoys using exercise prescription and motor control techniques and often combines these with manual therapy and dry needling.

Kim spent 10 years working in Australia where she developed an interest in sports physiotherapy. She completed her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2014 in Melbourne and has worked at local state and national levels with dance, gymnastics, hockey and Australian Football in Australia.

Away from work Kim likes to do yoga, bushwalking, travelling and finding the best cheese scone in Wellington.
